Long-term residence permit for business purposes in the Czech Republic
This type of residence permit differs from long-term visa for the purpose of business in that it makes it possible to do business on the territory of the Schengen area and stay there for more than 1 year.
The application for a long-term residence permit for business purposes is filed at the relevant Czech Embassy abroad or the Ministry of the Interior, if the foreigner has already been staying in the Czech Republic on the basis of a visa for more than 90 days.
The application of a long-term stay can be filed at the earliest 120 days before the expiry, and at the latest on the last day of validity of the long-term visa. The application may be filed before the expiry of the current residence permit, at the earliest 120 days before the expiry and at the latest on the last day of validity of the residence permit. The deadline for the issuance of a long-term residence permit is 60 days from the date of filing the application.
The condition of issuance of a long-term residence permit for business purposes is that the applicant must have a long-term visa with the same purpose of residence as given in the application for the long-term residence permit.

All documents issued by the authorities of non-EU countries must also be subject to a higher degree of authentication, such as an apostille or superlegalization. Please note that these documents must not be older than 180 days, with the exception of travel documents, photographs and registry office documents
